It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, but I was so inspired by watching Nobuhiko Obayashi’s House<\/em> that I decided to reboot my\u00a0podcast! Well, it’s not so much a reboot as it is a sequel.\u00a0But whatever you want to call it, I hope you’ll join me for the long-awaited (for me at least) third episode of The Last Theater on the Left Podcast!<\/p>\n In this episode, I discuss a movie I recently watched for the first time and can’t stop thinking about, 1977’s House<\/em>!\u00a0This film\u00a0has gotten a lot of praise and has been called “crazy” and “incomprehensible” by many reviewers, but I think most of the commentary I’ve seen online, even though it\u00a0might be positive and well-meaning, misses the point of this fabulously wild Japanese horror movie. Listen as I dig into the deeper meaning behind the frenetic visuals of\u00a0House<\/em> and try to get people to view it from a different perspective.
